The whole case is black ceramic, so it sits lighter on the wrist than the weight of it suggests, and it warms to your skin the way steel never quite does. The dial is the real reason you keep looking down: a textured Moon-relief surface that shifts as the light moves across it, reading matte and lunar in a dim room and catching sharp shadow near a window. On the nylon strap it wears easy enough for a workday, and the black-on-black restraint means it dresses up without drawing the loud attention a polished sports watch would. This is the Apollo 8 tribute, the darkest and most complete expression of the Moonwatch idea, and living with it feels less like wearing a chronograph and more like keeping the far side of the Moon in your pocket.
